Our Story

Jawhart Al Sharq — meaning "Jewel of the East" in Arabic — was founded on a simple belief: that the authentic flavors of Jordanian sweets deserve a home in Canada. Our sweets are crafted in Jordan using traditional recipes passed down through generations of Jordanian confectioners. Every Maamoul we shape, every tray of Baklava we bake, and every box of Nawashif we pack follows the same methods that have defined Arabic sweet-making for centuries. Today, we deliver to customers across Canada — from families celebrating Eid and special occasions, to food lovers discovering Middle Eastern confections for the first time.
